FAQs

  • This depends on the coating type, how the vehicle is used, and how well it's maintained. Our C&P Ceramic Coatings range from 2–5 years of protection. With proper care and regular washing, you can maximise its lifespan and performance. Like any protective treatment, maintenance matters, poor upkeep or abrasive washing will reduce the durability.

  • In almost all cases, yes. Paint correction removes imperfections like swirl marks, light scratches, and oxidation to ensure a flawless finish before the ceramic coating is applied. For newer vehicles, sometimes only a single-stage polish is needed, or none at all. For older or more worn paintwork, a 2- or 3-stage correction in many cases will be required. We assess each car individually, and pricing will vary depending on what’s needed to prepare the surface properly.

  • Ceramic coatings are applied by hand after exterior detail, decontaminating and polishing the paintwork. We use a special applicator pad to apply it one panel at a time. It then cures at room temperature over the next few hours.

  • Yes. While a ceramic coating makes washing quicker and easier, regular cleaning is still essential. It repels dirt and grime, meaning your car will stay cleaner for longer, but you’ll still need to wash it with a PH-neutral soap, to maintain the coating’s performance and appearance over time.

  • We can protect more than just your paint. With a range of industry leading coating options for you to pick from, we cover anything from paint, wheels, glass, to plastics, leather, vinyl, fabric and more. Our Complete Protection Package includes coating for all of these areas, offering a full-body defence against the elements.

  • We apply our coatings in a controlled environment to ensure proper curing and the best possible result. The vehicle will need to be dropped off to our location and kept overnight so we can take full precautions during the process.

  • We accept cash, bank transfer (PayID), and card payments. Payment is made once the service is completed. Card payments may incur a small processing fee.
